high mountain

It represents a wide variety of landscapes and dazzles the impressiveness of its highest peaks as well as the historical importance of the Andes in Mendoza and in our country.

The story begins in the plain of the city where from here we can see a great wall to the west that surrounds and forms part of the great Andes mountain range. From one point to another we can see how the vegetation and climate of the province change as we move away from the capital.

The road is very interesting, we could say that it is a 360 ° experience. Starting from the fact that we are bordering the course of the Mendoza River, the front view towards the Cordón del Plata to enter the foothills. Two completely different possible routes, on the one hand route 7 where we quickly headed towards Potrerillos or the recent route 82 in which we crossed Cacheuta arriving at the same destination but already with another initial image that looks like part of a painting and we refer to the step of the tunnel until we have in front of our eyes the turquoise water of the Potrerillos Dam.

But this does not end here, we continue towards Uspallata, observing the changing colors, the variety of mountain formations and the valleys that are hidden in various places of the mountain range.

Arriving at the end passing through Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas, Penitentes, until reaching Puente del Inca, a place of strange natural formations and hot springs.
